3371804 - AS2 Sender channel without Message Subject

• You are using SAP Process Orchestration (PO) or Process Integration (PI);
• You have configured AS2 Adapter to exchange business documents with your partner using the AS2 protocol;
• On the Adapter configuration you have set the Message Subject with (*) as the third party is not sending subject on their AS2 integration;
• You have noticed that the message flow is failing with a similar error such as:
  
  • "Cannot match channel to incoming request for ..., Subject null, ContentType application/pkcs7-mime; name=smime.p7m; smime-type=enveloped-data, AS2Version 1.2: java.util.regex.PatternSyntaxException: Dangling meta character '*' near index 0 * ^"
  • com.sap.engine.interfaces.messaging.api.exception.MessagingException: java.util.regex.PatternSyntaxException: Dangling meta character * near index 0
