3371836 - Unable to permanently clear the date range filter in the Load Quotes page in CPQ

• When using CPQ tenant which is on Quote 1.0 engine, if we go to the Load Quotes page, a date range filter is automatically displayed.

• We need to click on Clear all, only after which we can view all the quotes.
• This doesn't happen in a Quote 2.0 tenant.
• This article contains information on if it is possible to remove the Date Range filter in the Load Quotes page completely, without having to clear it each time.

1. Go to the Load Quotes page in CPQ and clear the date range by clicking on "Clear All".
2. Then click on the Filter icon, clear the "Filter by Date", and click on Apply and Save filter.
   The date range will be gone.
3. However, when we go to Catalog or Setup, and then when we go back to the Load Quotes page, the date range filter shows up again, and the quotes are automatically filtered by it's condition.

In Quote 2.0 engine, we don't have the date range filter, but in Quote 1.0 engine, we need to follow certain steps if we want to clear the date range filter permanently.

Please follow the below steps to clear the date range filter in the Load Quotes page:

Step 1: Go to Setup ->  General -> General Parameters -> Always reset filters on LoadQuote -> Set this to False.

It means that filters will be always saved.

Step 2: Now go to Users -> Users -> Edit the User -> Additional settings tab -> Show Quotes Within (up to the current date) -> Set this value to 'Use Global' -> Save.

So filter values will not get overridden. 

Step 3: Now exit Setup and go to the Load quotes page -> Clear the date range filter -> Click on the Filter icon in the Quote list page -> And click Save so they get persisted.

Now you can reload the Load quotes page and you won't be able to see the date range filter anymore.

NOTE: The above setting needs to be set for each user independently, and cannot be set for an entire Usertype.
