3371898 - Check Tool Warning in Recruiting - Invalid standardized background data field mapping

When running the Check Tool for RCM > Candidate Profile Template, this warning is being detected by the system:

Invalid standardized background data field mapping - (Background Mapping Template Reference: outsideWorkExperience, Data Field Mapping Template Reference: prevEmployerLastRateofPay)

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Management

1. Go to The Check Tool
2. Click on "Use Legacy Check Tool"
3. Run the Check Tool for RCM > Candidate Profile Template
4. This warning shows up: Invalid standardized background data field mapping - (Background Mapping Template Reference: outsideWorkExperience, Data Field Mapping Template Reference: prevEmployerLastRateofPay)

The same warning occurs in Provisioning when saving the CPT.

The field "prevEmployerLastRateofPay" was configured in a previous version of the CPT and then removed. 

As it was mapped to another field in "Configure Standardization Mapping", once the field got removed from the CPT, the system generates a warning because the field does not exist anymore, despite it having been mapped in "Configure Standardization Mapping". 

1. Go to "Configure Standardization Mapping"
2. Select "Candidate Standardization" for the Object
3. Map the affected field to another field
4. Save the changes
5. Perform a metadata refresh
6. Log out
7. Log in again
8. Go back to "Configure Standardization Mapping"
9. Select "Candidate Standardization" for the Object
10. Remove the mapping 
11. Save the changes
12. Run the Check Tool again
13. The warning does not occur anymore

NOTE: It is highly recommended to never remove a field once it has been configured in any of the XML templates in Recruiting. If a field is no longer needed, read and write permissions can be removed so that the field is not available (visible) anymore.
