Symptom

You are not able to find the app Import Employees after upgrading to S/4HANA Cloud 2308 version.

You want to know if there is any other app available to import employees' data.

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2308

Resolution

As mentioned in the What's New Viewer (SAP S/4HANA Cloud 2308) - Import Employees App, "The Import Employees app has been deleted and removed from the launchpad. You need to use the Manage Workforce app instead."

In Manage Workforce app, there is a button called Import which has the similar functionality with Import Employees app. For more details, please check "How to Mass Import Worker Data" section in the help portal.

In order to use this app, you need the business role SAP_BR_ADMINISTRATOR and business catalog SAP_BUM_BC_MNG_WORKFORCE_PC.
