3372386 - Digits not being populated in form - Onboarding 1.0

Symptom

The keys from the form were all mapped, however, not all digits from the key are being mapped. For example, a telephone number that has 3 digits area code, it is only being populated with 2 digits.

"Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental."

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding 1.0

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Onboarding Home dashboard.
  2. Find the candidate in the work queue that was facing the issue.
  3. Click on the 3 dots next to the candidate's name and click in Documents.
  4. Open the document that did not populate the field correctly.
  5. The field will not be populated correctly.

Cause

There two possible causes for this issue:

  1. The fields were not configured correctly.
  2. The box field to enter the value, it is too small.

Resolution

Scenario 1:

Check if the field that is not populating correctly was configured in the correct manner.

If there is a similar field that is working correctly, you can compare the configuration and adjust if necessary.

Scenario 2:

If the configuration is correct for the field, check if the size of the box in the original form has the sufficient size to store all digits.

You can compare the box field of other keys that are populating correctly to see the size that fits best for the data to be populated entirely.
