When you run the inventory posting list report from the Item Master Data window (right-click the window to open the context menu and choose Inventory Posting List or choose Go To → Inventory Posting List in the menu bar), only transactions from the current fiscal year as defined in SAP Business One are displayed.
If you do not have inventory transactions for the current fiscal year, you will see a balance for the selected item but no transactions.
