3372544 - HADR Replication Server Status Unknown or Down -SRS

Symptom

  • HADR is not working
  • sap_status path displays the following msgs:
    • Standby Site
      • Synchronization State Inactive 
      •  Replication Server Status Unknown or Down
    • Primary Site
      • Synchronization State Error Failed to retrieve a valid Synchronization State from the Replication Server.
    • Primary.Standby.<db> Replication Agent path is suspended
  • RMA log printed the following msgs repeatedly:
    • The DR Agent cannot connect to the Replication Server on the <Standby Site> host
