Symptom

When opening the statutory report Journal Entry Voucher - China, the following error message is displayed:

Error: RBAM: No authorization for 'BuiltIn READ' on instance 'XXX' of 'XXXT' in context 'UIApplication /SAP_BYDGLO_APPLICATION_UI/fin/gl/accdocrepqaf.QA.uicomponent Operation Start

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to General Ledger work center.
  2. Go to Statutory Reports view.
  3. Open Report Journal Entry Voucher - China.
  4. System gives error message: "RBAM: No authorization for 'BuiltIn READ' on instance 'XXX' of 'XXXT' in context 'UIApplication /SAP_BYDGLO_APPLICATION_UI/fin/gl/accdocrepqaf.QA.uicomponent Operation Start. "

Cause

One possible reason is that the user who opens this view can only access certain companies in the system, for example, only company A. For the remaining companies, the user does not have the access.

Resolution

If the user has access to Company A, he can create statutory reports for Company A even if an error is displayed. The error message can ignored.

Else, if the user has access to all companies in the system, he will not encounter such errors.
