3373126 - Unable to use local calculations in combination with hierarchies in SAC BW live connection story

In SAC BW live connection story, local calculations in combination with hierarchies do not work. 
But same works well in some other frontend tools like Analysis Office. The results in SAC and in AO are different.

Product limitation.
There are two different implementations of the result operations, an implementation in BICS and an implementation in OLAP (backend). 
BICS implementation support feature "Calculate results as...", which happens after the formula calculation, basically the very last step in the OLAP processing.
While OLAP implementation does not apply result operations like "Calculate results as..." in a hierarchy context, the hierarchy nodes have already been aggregated before hierarchies formula calculation. SAC uses the OLAP implementation of the result operations, and therefore does not support local calculation combined with hierarchies.

SAC does not support local calculations in combination with hierarchies.
Only 'Java BICS' supports local calculations in combination with hierarchies. This includes frontends like: Java Web, Analysis for Office and Design Studio. Please also review KBA 1296576 and 2031247.
