3373151 - Error message "Packaging Material &1 has no HU Type and Cannot be Used on the Warehouse" (/SCWM/HU_WM 072) shows up in Warehouse Monitor app

Symptom

There are stuck queues for inbound deliveries with below error message in Warehouse Monitor app:

Error message Packaging material &1 has no HU type and cannot be used in warehouse

Error ID /SCWM/HU_WM 072

Environment

SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition

Cause

This issue is caused by the missing Handling Unit Type for the product in deliveries.

Resolution

  1. Reject the stuck queue message in Warehouse Monitor app.
  2. Go to Manage Product Master Data app and navigate to the Warehouse Management tab -> Packaging. Maintain the field "Handling Unit Type".
  3. Re-distribute the delivery to Warehouse.
