3373172 - dump encrypted temporary database failed with Msg 3062 - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • Temporary database is ecnrypted with an encryption key like below:
    alter database <db_name> encrypt with <key_name>
  • After ASE server is restarted, you are not able to dump the temporary database and get error below:
    Msg 3062, Level 16, State 1:
    Database encrypted with random database encryption key is not allowed to be dumped.
