3373226 - CDS View for Purchase Order Long Text unavailable in S/4HANA Cloud.

Symptom

  • CDS view for Long Text is not available in the SAP API HUB or App "View Browser".
  • Purchase Order has Header and Item Long Text maintained that needs to be extracted but there is no CDS View released.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

Cause

Missing Functionality

Resolution

Consider using API purchase order to extract the header and item texts for the purchase order:

  • PurchaseOrderItemNote
  • PurchaseOrderNote

Both entities support Read operation

Consider checking the customer influence portal for voting or submitting new ideas about this functionality.
