3373433 - Journal Entry Voucher For Production Lots

You create a Journal Entry Voucher of journal entry type: 00086 - Manual Entry for Production Lots. You add two offset lines against the WIP G/L Account. On simulate the JEV, there is the error message:Only one offsetting line allowed for manual adjustment.

1. Go to the General Ledger work center.
2. Go to the Common Tasks view.
3. Select New Journal Entry Voucher.
4. Fill in the data as required with Journal Entry Type: 00086 - Manual Entry for Production Lots.
5. Select Add Row and add G/L Accounts as required with for example two debit entries against one credit entry.
6. Select Simulate.

Error message: Only one offsetting line allowed for manual adjustment.

You cannot add more than one offset line to the manual JEV for production lots.

 This is the normal designed system behavior. You cannot add more than one offset line to the manual JEV for production lots.

Using the Journal Entry Type:00047 - Manual Posting - Journal Entry Voucher, you will be able to add more than one offset lines.
