3373456 - Members <root> are inconsistent between master data and hierarchies in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• Not able to add any new member in the dimension.
• When adding any new member in the dimension, it is throwing an error: Members [<root>] are inconsistent between master data and hierarchies. 

1. Login to SAC.
2. Open the model.
3. Open the dimension.
4. Add a new member.

Notice that it throws the error: Members [<root>] are inconsistent between master data and hierarchies.

There is an invalid database table entry having a node ID of '<root>' which is not allowed.

• This is a known issue that can only be fixed directly on database level by removing invalid entries.
• Please raise a support case under LOD-ANA-ML-MDM component and refer to this KBA.

• 3398820 - New <root> member ID appears in the dimension with the validation error that "Value may not be <root>" in SAP Analytics Cloud
