3373541 - You Cannot Add New Attachments to a Document via SOAP UI

When adding attachments from SOAP UI to a document the new attached files replace the previous ones.

In this document we will use an Opportunity as an example.

On SOAP UI you have created new attachments for an already existing Opportunity.

1. Go to the New Business work center.
2. Opportunities view.
3. Open Opportunity ABC (ABC represents the Opportunity ID).
4. Navigate to the Attachments tab.
5. There are two attached files.
6. Navigate to the Changes tab.

You'll see that when the two new attachments were added the older attachments have been replaced.

This is the system behavior.

There is no possibility of adding attachments to the Opportunity document without deleting the existing ones.

When adding attachments from web service you must send all the necessary attachments all at once, otherwise every time a new attachment is added the one already assigned will be replaced.
