3373588 - Message CK172 in "Edit Costing Run" and CK350 in "Create Material Cost Estimate"

1. Perform the selection step in "Edit Costing Run". Include the material effected.
2. In the logs you are issued with the message CK172; "Material & in plant &: No cost est. exists -> raw mat. cost estimate."
3. You execute "Material Cost Estimate" on the same material.
4. You are issued with the warning CK350; "Mat. & in plant & should be costed in cost est. w/o qty structure".

Both messages are correct. In "Edit Costing Run", you are attempting to cost or select material & in plant & with costing variant &, but the indicator with quantity structure is not set in the costing view of the material master record (MM02). The system will then create a raw material cost estimate according to the valuation variant.  If you have not set 'with quantity structure' then "Edit Costing Run" application will not consider any BoM or special procurement, but always do a raw material costing. This is what message CK172 says.

In "Material Cost Estimates" you can enter a quantity structure manually. This is the reason why message CK350 is raised and then the setting 'with quantity structure' will not be considered.

1. Go to the material master for the effected material.
2. Set the "With Quantity Structure" in costing view 1.
3. Cost the material as a raw material cost estimate
