It's not clear about the V price update logic for CDS view I_INVENTORYPRICEBYKEYDATE.

SAP S/4HANA Cloud

• Whenever there is a new GR for the material, there will be creation/update of price for the period (if price for the period exists, it will update). There will be at most only one price for one period. The system will only save the latest price in the data table.
• When checking CDS view I_INVENTORYPRICEBYKEYDATE, system will translate the keydate into period, and then display the price for the period.
• If there is no GR in the period, the system will not create/update the price for the period. System will consider the previous available price.
