3373981 -  Error: "The type of the dimension was changed in the model. Remove it and then adjust the table layout according to your requirements." in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• In a story which is based on live connection to SAP Datasphere, the date dimensions are showing error in SAC sometimes.
• Error message: "The type of the dimension was changed in the model. Remove it and then adjust the table layout according to your requirements."
• Intermittent issue.
• Although, the message indicates, that changes have been made on the data source side, this has not happened.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise) 2023.16.04
• SAP Datasphere

1. Login to SAC.
2. Open Story in Edit mode.
3. Select a table/chart in the page.
4. Open Right Side Panel / Builder panel.
5. Scroll down to Rows and check the last two date dimensions. => error message: "The type of the dimension was changed in the model. Remove it and then adjust the table layout according to your requirements."

• By design behaviour.
• The SAC story has been created before associations have been added to dimensions in the model in the SAP Datasphere.

• Delete and re-add the same date dimensions in the story.
