3374097 - Prepare for Onboardee First Day updated Template is not being sent to Onboardees - Onboarding

Email template copied from "Prepare for Onboardee First Day updated Template" to trigger notifications to candidates before start date, but in specific periods of time, is not working.

SAP SuccessFactors Onboarding

1. Copied the template '(ONB) Prepare for Onboardee First Day updated Template'
2. Create a Business Rule to notify candidate x days before start date. Example: 
   
   Base Date: Prepare for Day One Task.Subject User.Job Information.Employment Details.Hire Date
   Number of months: 0
   Number of days: < 3
   
   
3. Manager completes "Prepare for Day One Task" (mandatory to trigger it).
4. Email is not sent.

Expected behavior if the task is not completed by Manager in the exactly same date as "before due date" set on business rule.

Business rule will only trigger this email once the criteria is matched. Therefore, for this configuration, if the Manager completes it before or after the exactly date defined in rule, email won't trigger.

Example as above, business rule is set up as < 3 days before start date, if manager completes it 4 days before: email notification will not be sent. This is the system expected behavior.

As a Workaround we suggest to set up a reminder task for "(ONB) Prepare for Onboardee First Day updated Template"

Ensure that the following steps was completed:

1. Go to Email Services, open the Custom Template, and navigate to "Step 2."
2. Then, filter the Business Rules and add the rule to trigger the notification.
3. The reminder should be triggered when the next match occurs.
4. Make sure that the rule conditions for the number of days before the start date match.
5. If they do, ensure that 1 day before the due date falls within the period defined in the rule.
6. The task will not trigger if is already completed when the match occurs
