3374926 - Custom Field Displays Only 30 Characters in a Price List Created via Web Service

When you create a Price List with Custom Fields in the system via Standard Web Service, the Custom Field only displays the first 30 characters of the content stored in the field.

1. Go to the Product and Service Portfolio work center.
2. Go to the Price List view.
3. Filter for the desired Price List.
4. In the search field, Search for the Price List EFG (EFG represents the Price List ID).
5. Open and select the View All button.
6. Navigate to the Item tab.

In the Custom Field only the first 30 characters of the field content are displayed, even though more than 30 characters were maintained in the field in the creation of the Price List.

Even though is possible to store more than 80 characters in a Custom Field while creating a Price List via Standard Web Service, the placeholders for Custom Fields in Custom Price Lists allow only 32 characters. Because of this, in the UI, no Custom Field will display more than 32 characters.

This is the current system behavior. 

In order to avoid any mismatch between the parameters of the Price List and the Sales Orders, it is recommend to maintain 32 characters or less for the content in a Custom Field when creating a Price List via Standard Web Service.
