3375102 - Failed to create a virtual table after upgrading DPAgent - SAP HANA Smart Data Integration

Symptom

  • After upgrading DPAgent from 2.5.2.0 to 2.7.1.1, the following error occurred when trying to create a virtual table via mssqllogreader adapter against the remote MSSQL server.
    • DPFramework | WorkerThread.processAdapterOpen [] - Open request for ***
      DPFramework | WorkerThread.processRequest [] - com.sap.hana.dp.adapter.sdk.AdapterException: The database name component of the object qualifier must be the name of the current database. Context: com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException: The database name component of the object qualifier must be the name of the current database.
                                      at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerException.makeFromDatabaseError(..............
                                      at com.microsoft.sqlserver.jdbc.SQLServerStatement.getNextResult(................
  • After switching back to the original Agent Version (2.5.2.0), it's working again to create virtual tables again.
