Error M7764  'Freezing of book inv. balance in stor. loc. is not allowed' occurs when creating a Physical Inventory Document

• SAP S/4HANA Cloud

1. App : Create Physical Inventory Documents.
2. Enter Plant / Storage Location.
3. Select Material.
4. Click on 'Create Physical Inventory Document'.
5. In the popup, under the tab 'Additional Header Date' select the indicator ' Freeze Book Inventory'.
6. Error M7764  Freezing of book inv. balance in stor. loc. is not allowed. 

Allow Freezing of Book Inventory Balance in Storage Location is not set for the plant and storage location.

1. Check the SSCUI 103745 Allow Freezing of Book Inventory Balance in Storage Location.
2. Set the indicator for plant and storage location.
3. After which when creating a PI document you can set the Freeze Book Indicator
