Symptom

  • Some tools are grayed out in the toolbar and objects/symbols can not be created in the model/diagram.
    For example, inheritance, association, and association link tools are disabled when a Conceptual Data Model (CDM) is open.
  • Model notation is Barker.
  • The license is DataArchitect Enterprise (PD_DAE).
