3375530 - Partner function error while saving a Customer Project in CE2308

The following error occurs when creating a billing item under the project Billing tab:

• "specify partner function for partner"
• "An exception was raised"

• Sales and Distribution (SD)
• Enterprise Portfolio and Project Management (EPPM)
• SAP S/4HANA Cloud CE2308

A correction is planned for hotfix collection 6 (HFC06). See schedule for more details.

In the meantime, a workaround is available:

Please add your customer-specific project roles (=Responsibilities on the "Information" tab) to your project AFTER you created the first billing item (sales order) on the "Billing" tab. Then everything will be updated without the error message you observed during the initial creation of the sales order. Then you should be able to continue working on your project.
