This KBA explains how to create a Custom Navigation link to quickly access Time Sheet from Quick Card or Employee Profile as an Admin/Manager. Image/data in this KBA is from SAP internal systems, sample data, or demo systems. Any resemblance to real data is purely coincidental.
Environment

Resolution
1. Access Configure Custom Navigation Tool
- If Configure Custom Navigation is not enabled in your instance, it needs to be enabled in Provisioning before the tool can be used. Please create a Support case to request this.
- If Configure Custom Navigation is enabled in your instance, you can access it by navigating to Admin Center> Company Settings > Configure Custom Navigation or by clicking the link to it at the top of the Manage Action Search page.
2. Create a new link using URL: /xi/ui/attendancerecordingui/pages/sap/sf/attendancerecordingui/timesheet/index.xhtml?selected_user=@PERSON_USER_ID@
- /xi/ui/attendancerecordingui/pages/sap/sf/attendancerecordingui/timesheet/index.xhtml is the URL to new time sheet UI.
- @PERSON_USER_ID@ is a URL token to dynamically insert SAP SuccessFactors data into a custom navigation link.
3. Define where the custom link is visible, below Menu Locations can be chosen:
- Employee Profile - Jump To
- Employee Profile - Employee Records
- Person - Take Action
- Person - Go To
4. After saving the new custom navigation link, click it in an Quick Card or Employee Profile. This will directly lead to current selected employee's timesheet.
