3375756 - Unable to track import jobs for Measure Based Model in Data Management Jobs Statistics and Analysis in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) & SAP Digital Boardroom

Symptom

The following behavior occurs in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC):

  • You are using pre-defined story "Data Management Jobs Statistics and Analysis" to check timestamps for import jobs of your models.
  • You would like to track certain models, however measure based models are not listed in the report.  

Environment

SAP Analytics Cloud 2023.16.4

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log on to SAC.
  2. Go to Files->System->Common->SAC Content.
  3. Open report Data Management Jobs Statistics and Analysis.
  4. Try filtering for measure based model.
  5. Notice that it is not found.

Cause

  • This a by-design behavior.
  • It is a known limitation to the product.

Resolution

  • Development team is aware of the gap, and it is currently planned to be implemented with 2024 first quarterly release.
  • As a workaround, it is possible to check timestamp for all import jobs within the model, under Data management tab.
