3375999 - Application error saving employment details - Employee Central

When saving employment details system throws an application error.

• SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central
• Dismissal Protection

There is a rule on Employment Details which utilizes "Check Dismissal Protection()" function, however Dismissal Protection feature is not enabled in the instance which makes the usage of this function not supported.

Two possible solutions depending on your business requirement:

• Disable the rule:
  1. Go to Manage Business Configuration
  2. Select Employment Details portlet (employmentinfo)
  3. Find the rule which have "Check Dismissal Protection()" 
  4. Disable the rule.
     
     
• Enable Dismissal Protection if is required:
  1. Go to Manage Employee Central settings
  2. Enable Dismissal Protection
  3. Save.
