To perform the decommissioning request, open a case selecting the "LOD-SF-LMS-SER" component and please send the information below as an email file (.msg): 

• Authorization to perform the decommissioning, as such: "I hereby approve to delete the below instance and I am aware the data and configurations will be lost (if any) once the instance is deleted."
• Product - If you'd like to decommission a Learning instance, the product is "SAP SuccessFactors Learning".
• Tenant ID -  Is equivalent to the "System Number" found when opening a case.
• Learning URL - It is found when accessing the "My Learning" tab, Ex: https://<companyId>.lms.hr.cloud.sap.
• Company Signature - This is essential to confirm that the decommissioning was approved/requested by the company that owns the instance.

Note: There is no need to send the email to SAP Support Engineers' email addresses. Customers can send the email message to a supervisor/manager, or to themselves, and then save the email message as a .msg file extension to attach it to the case.

Before decommissioning Learning, take these steps to prevent residual Learning data in the BizX module (ex.: Learning Approvals or Assignments):

• Deactivate Learning users prior decommission via User Connector-SF or User Connector, ensuring that the “inactiveRule.cleanDevPlan” connector property is set up correctly before running it (KBA 2305693).
• Disable the BizX-Learning integration (KBA 2859013): If BizX and Learning are integrated and if only one tenant from a pair is to be decommissioned then, the integration must be disabled before decommission:
  • BizX Provisioning > Company Settings > Ensure the “Enable SuccessFactors Integration” is unchecked.
  • Learning Administration > Configuration > System Configuration > BIZX > Switch “successFactorsLearningEnabled” from “true” to “false”.
