3376649 - SPID 0 hold share locks on syslogins and not release in standby ASE cause SRS hang - SAP ASE

Symptom

  • You have HADR setup running on ASE 16.0 SP03 PL07 and higher.
  • In SRS, dt_apply is enabled, the value is set higher than 1.
  • In standby ASE, 'enable DTM' is turned on, configured as 1.
  • In standby ASE, SPID 0 always hold share locks on syslogins table. This can be checked by sp_lock.
  • SRS become hang and only when roll back the transactions in standby ASE, SRS can recover.
