3377711 - VMD_API 161 error when unchecking "Plant relevant" flag

Symptom

When "Plant relevant" flag is unchecked in Vendor: General Data tab, error below occurs:

Supplier-specific data were not saved due to error VMD_API 161 (see long text!)

Message no. CVI_BDT_ADAPTER051

Diagnosis

While saving the supplier-specific data of the business partner the following error occurred:

Data retention must be allowed for diff. purchasin
VMD_API 161

Or error below occurs:

Indicator Plant Relevant cannot be unchecked.
