3377759 - How to set up comments on BW/BPC live Connections in SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC)

• You would like to start using comments on BW/BPC live Connections in SAC and wonder what configurations need to be done.
• The commenting doesn’t work in SAC. For example, the error "Adding comments failed. Please contact SAP support." is received during the comment creation.

• SAP Analytics Cloud (Enterprise)

Please also make sure the following SAP Notes are included in your BW system:

• 3387849 - BW Documents and Dump: "System error in program CL_RSR_RRK0_RESULT_SET_STL and form READ_PACKAGES_LATE-1-"
• 3348600 - BW InA and Documents: Support for SAC HTML formatted documents
• 3466793 - BW InA: Documents and Structure in UDH

If the issue still happens, to narrow down the root cause, please test if it is possible to add the comments to the same BW query via RSRT or Analysis for Office.

• If the comment feature does not work at the BW side either, please check the configurations mentioned in BW Live Connectivity BW Document Store Integration and its sub pages. In case the issue is still not resolved, you can report a case to the BW-BEX-OT-OLAP-DOC support team.
• If the comment feature works at the BW side and does not work in SAC, you can report a case to the LOD-ANA-PL-DPC support team.
