3378059 - Error message is shown for Sales Quotes deletion via Data Workbench

Symptom

You are trying to delete multiple Sales Quotes via Data Workbench, but error message "Instances in bulk message should all be either view object or quote." is shown.

Environment

SAP Cloud for Customer

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Data Workbench
  2. Select import > Update
  3. Search for the object Sales Quotes
  4. Enhance the csv. file with column "ToBeDeleted" and the field value "true"
  5. Import the csv file
  6. Error message is shown

Cause

The error message is displayed when there are internal Sales Quotes (created on C4C) and external Sales Quotes (created in another system) being imported in the same file for deletion.

Resolution

The sales quotes must be separated into different import files,  for example, create a deletion import for the internal sales quotes only and the other one for the external sales quotes only (also referred as the view objects).
