Symptom

The following error message has report when it did run BACKUP TABLE statement to the empty table.

Sample
(dba)> create table tableA (col1 int)

(dba)> BACKUP TABLE tableA to 'tabeA_backup' PAGING OFF ;
Could not execute statement.
  Backup of empty table is not allowed.
  SQLCODE=-1014064, ODBC 3 State="HY000"
