3378192 - Value 'X' in selection line 1 (LOW field) for variable !CDS* is is not valid.

Symptom

When entering a value on prompt screen for a CDS variable (either manually or via input help) an error such as the follows is triggered:

Value 0001 in selection line 1 (LOW field) for variable !CDS_F_2CIFICOMPANYCODE is not valid.

The error can appear in different frontend tools as well as in Fiori Apps involving BW CDS queries.
