Symptom

  • HANA Database Availability metrics, such as "HDB Daemon Status", are grey in the System Monitoring UI.
  • Within the e2emai log files of the Diagnostic Agent, you find an error mentioning "'GetInstance' on 'SAP_ITSAMDatabaseSystem' fail: Database not found: HANA instance XXX not found."
