3378441 - Unfied Reporting - Israel job failed (Cancelled manually or by the system)

You have executed the Unified Reporting - Israel and you noticed that the job failed with the error message "Cancelled manually or by the system"

SAP Business ByDesign

1. Go to General Ledger Work Center > Unified Reporting - Israel view
2. Select the Run ID XXX 
3. Click on View Jobs 
4. In the drop-down box list, select Run Jobs
5. The status of the job is Failed with the error description: "Cancelled manually or by the system"
6. Under View Job Log a similar message is shown
7. Job started
   Step 001 started (program SAP_MDRI_REPORT, variant , user ID ABCD)
   MDRO: GLO_UNIFIED_REP_RUN (NNNN, 00000000000000000000000000000000000)
   The internal session was terminated with a runtime error (see ST22)
   Job cancelled

A possible cause of this error is a memory issue due to the huge amount of data to be processed.

There is a new feature in the system that allows the user to restart a failed job. Refer to the documentation below that explains how to enable it in your system.

Restart Run Process documentation

Once the question "Do you want to enable the Restart Run for unsuccessful runs in Unified Reporting?" is scoped in the system, the system will offer you the possibility to restart a failed job.
To restart a failed job, you need to proceed as follow:

1. Go to General Ledger Work Center > Unified Reporting - Israel view
2. Find the failed run and select it
3. Under Details, select the row with the Processing Status "In Process"
4. Click Schedule > Restart Run
5. The system will offer you the option to Start the job immediately or to schedule a job to run on a specific date/time
6. Click Save and Close
7. The system will continue the process from the last processed entry of the failed job
8. If the job fails again, you can then restart the process again
