3378551 - Asterisks error is showing when opening Canvas report in Safari browser

Asterisk (***) pop-up box is showing when opening canvas reports using the Safari browser versions 11 and up.

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Core

1. Login to the instance using Safari Browser
2. Navigate to Report Center
3. Run the canvas report
4. Notice that a pop-up window with *** is showing

Note: The canvas report will still work after clicking the close button

This is an expected behavior ever since the Safari version 11 was introduced.

It is highly recommended to use Google Chrome for report Canvas
