3378553 - SAP Business ByDesign 2308 Hotfix Collection 2 Information

The following is the list of fixes*- delivered with Hotfix collection 2, performed in the 2308 release of SAP Business ByDesign.

The Hotfix collection is planned to be deployed to tenants during the respective planned maintenance window on/after 16 September 2023. Please check the planned maintenance downtime window for your tenant from the Service Control Center.

Cross-Area

Cross Country Extensions 

• Release 2308 had an enhancement on External Tax Event Determination, which was susceptible to producing unexpected tax-calculation results when evaluating the business partners who pertained to private or corporate accounts. Necessary corrections have now been made to ensure regression-free tax calculation. (Hotfix ID: 4500021791)

Statutory Reporting

• By using the custom form template of Form Group Code G15, users can now generate customized account statements as per their needs. (Hotfix ID: 1000026623)

Customer Language Adaptation

• The Mongolian language and two scripts in Azerbaijani are now enabled for users, so they can translate labels, messages, tooltips, and other UI texts into these languages. (Hotfix ID: 1000027711)

Business Partner

• The Script code field is released for Public Read Access in Business Partner and Address Snapshot business objects. (Hotfix ID: 1000021979)

Financial Management

Expense Reimbursement Management

• The statutory rates for UK mileage have been updated in response to legal changes in mileage rates, effective September 1, 2023. (Hotfix ID: 4500020415)

Financial Accounting

• In the past, while creating a manual journal entry voucher - selecting a material did not lead to the automatic selection of its appropriate unit of measure if its quantity was zero. Also, the unit of measure did not automatically change with the change in the type of material selected but remained what it was. With this hotfix, the issue is now resolved. (Hotfix ID: 1000026734)

Tax Declaration

• For Mexico, with respect to the import-relevant tax codes 13, 14, and 17, end users can now select 'Zero' tax rate for VAT tax type when used along with the IEPS tax type. (Hotfix ID: 1000024109)
• For Seychelles, the Tax Identification Number (TIN) tax-number type is now available. (Hotfix ID: 1000024516)
• For the France CA3 VAT return form, form box 16 now displays the correct value. The value of form box 10, which should be added to the sum of the other values that are considered for computation of the amount for form box 16, was earlier erroneously subtracted. The error is now rectified. (Hotfix ID: 1000024956)
• For Spain, a new tax event 38 (Domestic Acquisition, Electricity, Special Rate) along with tax code 38 (Domestic Acquisition, Electricity, Special Rate) have been delivered. (Hotfix ID: 1000025556)
• For Spain, the end users can now successfully execute a withholding tax return run, using SAP Cloud Applications Studio. (Hotfix ID: 4500015839)

Due Item Processing

• Data models are now loading successfully for the 'Date Part Split' defined scenario in the MLC cockpit. (Hotfix ID: 4500020415)

Human Capital Management (HCM)

Personnel Administration

• For France, in the Personnel File screen, users can now add custom tabs and create extension fields. (Hotfix ID: 1000027012)

Resource Pool Management

• In Resource Planning Management, the erroneous calculation of an additional day of planning for an employee due to the time-zone conversion factor - is now rectified. (Hotfix ID: 4500022170)

Supply Chain Management (SCM)

Execution Material Flow View

• When the number of logistic areas in a site is greater than 200 and the material is present in an external warehouse, the projected quantity of flow displays correctly now. (Hotfix ID: 4500022180)

Site Logistics Task

• The positive and negative signs of the amount in B100 and B110 are now as per system signs. (Hotfix ID: 1000024418)
• For a registered product, the Open Chart shows correctly and no longer produces dump files, including for nested hierarchy. (Hotfix ID: 1000025782)
• The web service is now correctly returning the data pertaining to the employee specified. Earlier it was displaying even the data unassigned to others. (Hotfix ID: 1000026902)
• All inbound tasks are now correctly showing the Supplier Part number in the UI. (Hotfix ID: 1000027160)

Material Supply and Demand View

• Necessary correction is done to populate project stock orders in the SCMMSDVV02 data source. (Hotfix ID: 1000023897)

Supplier Relationship Management (SRM)

Purchasing Contract

• The tasks on "Approved Purchasing Contract XXX Changed After Release" and "Goods and Services Receipt XXX Approved" are now automatically assigned to a user if the user has access to the work center of the corresponding document. (Hotfix ID: 4500022012)
