3379060 - Document Generation failing

• When migrating from Document Generation Engine 1.0 to 2.0, failure happens.
• Cannot generate document using the Document Generation Engine 2.0.

SAP SALES CLOUD CPQ

In Application Parameters, Use new engine for 'Document Templates Processing' is set to True.

1. Go to Setup;
2. Go to Global Document Templates;
3. Add new template with type .doc;
4. Failure happens.

File in question is of type doc, which is not supported in Document Generation Engine 2.0.

Migrate the document content to docx file type and upload it.
