3379238 - Field showing same Codes and Description values in the UI

You have created a custom field of Field type String and field format code , you see the code and descriptions values are same in the UI for the custom field.

• SAP Service Cloud Version 2
• SAP Sales Cloud Version 2

1.Go to Navigation Menu and select your Service

2. In the service , go to User profile and start adaptation

3. Add your custom field  created in Extensibility

4. In the dropdown you will see code and description for the custom field appears same

You would have defined the Code and Descriptions with same namespaces.

To resolve on the issue, follow below steps

1. Click on User Profile.
2. Click on Settings.
3. Select All Settings. 
4. Go to Extensibility Administration.
5. Select Extensibility.
6. Select an Entity where you have created custom field
7. On Custom Fields tab, click on Pensil Icon (Edit field) under action
8. Maintain different values for code and description
