3379594 - Legal Entity, Event Reason and Hire Date not editable on Add New Employee while using Hire Template configuration

In Add New Employee Page, when we choose the Hire Template configured Legal Entity, Event Reason and Hire Date are not editable

SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central - Add New Employee

Prerequisite: Hire Template is configured and required permission are given to the user.

Steps to follow:

1. Navigate to Admin Center > Add new employee.
2. Fill the Hire date, Legal Entity, Event reason and select the Hire template configured.
3. Click on continue.
4. We can see that Legal Entity, Event reason and Hire date cannot be edited.
5. Now refresh the add new employee page.
6. Fill the Hire date, Legal Entity, Event reason and select the Hire template as Standard Template.
7. Click on continue.
8. We can see that Legal Entity, Event reason and Hire date can be edited.

• This is expected behavior.
• Workaround- Refresh the add new employee page; then select the new values if the selected values are incorrect for Legal Entity, Event reason and Hire date.
