When search a multiple employment employee in global search, it shows multiple employment, even though all secondary employments are inactive. And the inactive employments still show up in quick card.

Cause
This is because "Show inactive user in people search (requires Role-based Permissions) " feature is also enabled in Company System and Logo Settings.
Resolution
Please consider to disable the feature "Show inactive user in people search (requires Role-based Permissions) " in Company System and Logo Settings based on your business requirement.
Note that this can happen for other inactive profiles as contingent worker for example.
