Symptom

  • A query having LIKE CLAUSE sometimes caused signal 11 in function opt_like_and() with stack trace.
  • Configurable parameters ‘statement cache size’ > 0 and ‘enable literal autoparam = 1’.
  • Boot time trace flag -T7739 is on, this trace flag enables literal parameterization for strings in LIKE pattern and escape clause.
  • Statement cache memory usage (including SQL text and their query plans) had reached ‘statement cache size’ limit.
