Symptom


It is not possible to select the option "Would you like to restrict your managers from viewing the confidential data of their team members?" in Business Configuration.

Environment

SAP Business ByDesign

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Go to Business Configuration
  2. Select Implementation Projects.
  3. Select Edit Project Scope.
  4. Reach till the Questions step.
  5. Select Human Resource.
  6. Select Personnel File.
  7. Unable to mark the option "Would you like to restrict your managers from viewing the confidential data of their team members?".

 

Cause

The system is not allowing to hide Private Contact Data when Master Data Replication is scoped-in.

Resolution

This is a standard system behaviour.
