3380556 - Org Chart Photos cropped for some users

Symptom

  • When Horizon Theme is enabled Org chart images appear cropped for some users.
  • Employee profile the image is as expected. 

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors HXM Core

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Login and go to Org Chart and search for affected user
  2. Note the image is distorted/cropped
  3. Compare with employee profile photos of the users and they are round as expected

Cause

If the Length-width ratio of the uploaded picture is not 1:1, it will cause this issue. ( Because the avatar is circular )

Resolution

A square picture is suggested to be uploaded to be compatible with Org Chart requirements
