With the 2H 2023 release, all onChange and onSave business rules configured for the HRIS element personRelationshipInfo now work for the data import and OData API operations of person relationship information.

We built this enhancement to standardize the business process across all channels and minimize the need for manual intervention by administrators.

Prerequisites:

1. Enable 'Enable Centralized Services for Dependents (Applicable for data imports from UI and API and saving changes on Editing UI)' under the 'Company System and Logo Settings' page.
2. Enable 'Employee Central Import Settings' > Enable business rules for selected entities for 'Dependents'.

3. Set onChange and onSave business rules configured for the HRIS element personRelationshipInfo.

Steps:

1. Create new record for PerPerson.

2. Create new record for PerPersonRelationship.

Results: onChange and onSave are triggered.
