3380660 - Error Quote Cannot be Cancelled; Open the Document and Check Details

You are facing the error 'Quote cannot be cancelled; open the document and check details' when trying to cancel a Sales Quote. 

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to the New Business work center.
2. Select the Sales Quotes view.
3. Search for the document ABC (ABC represents the ID of the In Process document). 
4. Select the document and click on the Actions button.
5. Select Reject.

Error Quote cannot be cancelled; open the document and check details.

This is the system expected behavior. 

As the document is In Process, cancelling is not possible and this can be viewed under the General tab as the Reason for Rejection field is disabled.

To cancel or change the documents status to Completed, please perform the following steps:

1. Go to the New Business work center.
2. Select the Sales Quotes view.
3. Search for document ABC (ABC represents the ID of the In Process document). 
4. Click Edit.
5. Click View All button.
6. Here you have two options: 
   1. Click Change Status.
   2. Select Completed.
7. Or.
   1. Navigate to the Items tab.
   2. Maintain a Reason for Rejection for the item.
