Symptom

Job alerts are not getting saved when the candidate creates the job alerts using 'Create Alert' button.

Environment

SAP SuccessFactors Recruiting Marketing

Reproducing the Issue

  1. Log in to the career site as an existing user.
  2. Put a search term in the Keyword field and click Search Jobs.
  3. On the search results page, click the Create Alert Button.
  4. Message will appear that "Thank you very much! Your account has been successfully updated."
  5. Click on the View profile button.
  6. Once on RCM navigate to Options > Job Alerts.
  7. Once on the RCM Job Alert manager page, note that the job alert created for your search term in the earlier steps does not appear.

*The issue is reproducible if this is a completely fresh session - the issue may not occur if the user closes the tab or reopen the site in a "regular" browser session.

Resolution

The Engineering team is aware of this issue and we are targeting 1H 2024 release to provide a solution.

Workaround: Create a job alert via Options > Job Alerts > Create New Job Alerts button.
