3380763 - Error - 'Profit center XYZ determined for Expense Report ABC is not valid on DD.MM.YYYY' occurred while trying to post the Expense Report

While trying to post the Expense Report 'ABC' facing below mentioned error message.

Error Message: Profit center XYZ determined for Expense Report ABC is not valid on DD.MM.YYYY. Check the validity of profit center XYZ in Organizational Management and your default profit centers in configuration.

(ABC refers to Expense Report ID).

(XYZ refers to Profit Center ID).

SAP Business ByDesign 

1. Go to General Ledger work center.
2. Go to Expense Report sub view.
3. Search for the Expense Report ABC (In Process status)
4. Try to post it.
5. The error appears as " Profit center XYZ determined for Expense Report ABC is not valid on DD.MM.YYYY. Check the validity of profit center XYZ in Organizational Management and your default profit centers in configuration".

This error appears because the validity date of the Profit center determined for Expense Report got expired and not valid on that particular date mentioned in the error message. 

1. Go to Organizational Management work center.
2. Go to Edit Org Structures sub view.
3. Search for the relevant Company of the Profit center under Org unit name.
4. Select that Org Unit, under timeline there is a Profit center 'Valid from' and 'Valid to' Date 
5. Try to extend the 'Valid to' to the relevant date. (as mentioned in error message)
6. Once this validity is extended, expense report 'ABC' can be saved without any error message.
