3381045 - Scheduled jobs in SAP Datasphere fail with "Status SCHEDULE_CANCELLED during run"

Schedules are failing with SCHEDULE_CANCELLED message in SAP Datasphere:

"This task job could not be executed due to an internal error. Contact SAP Support and provide them with the correlation id and timestamp from this task job’s log detail information. Status SCHEDULE_CANCELLED during run with correlationId  [...] "

The issue might have been caused by a change in the Identity Provider (IdP) configuration of the SAP Datasphere/SAC tenant.

In order to create job schedules, users need to give their consent in SAP Datasphere to allow user impersonation. This is mandatory so that SAP Datasphere can trigger a job invocation in the name of the respective job owner.

If a user has already granted the user impersonation consent and scheduled one or more jobs before the IdP configuration has been changed, then the consent would become invalid. Hence, all jobs of this user will start to fail.
